A little news: Émigre/Americana which I wrote and directed has almost wrapped it's festival run. After being Jury Nominated at the Academy Award Qualifying Palm Springs International Shortfest, we received our second Academy Award Qualifying selection at Tasveer Film Festival, followed by screenings at Chicago South Asian Film Festival, The International South Asian Film Festival of Canada, DC Shorts (Audience Choice Award), Venezia Shorts Virtual, Bushwick Film Festival and the Reel Independent Film Festival where it won Best Short Film.
